Cahier 2. This second issue of the series is exceptional in the way it treats 2 smaller monographic exhibitions; Jean Brusselmans / Victor Servranckx. Originally the cover design was designed to depict 1 artwork or part of an art work. The question / problem here was to treat both artists in a non-hierarchical way. But only one artist could figure on the cover! This problem was solved by separating the two artists rigorously: The first monography ends halfway the book; then the book has to be turned over and placed upside down to start the second monography which runs to the middle of the book as well. This way of working made it possible to create two front covers for one book.
