Survey and catalogue raisonné of the architectural works of Claude Laurens who is notorious for his modernistic projects in Kinshasa (‘Leopoldville’) during the fifties. The Sabena building (see picture on the cover) is one of his creations. This publication was part of the doctoral thesis of professor Johan Lagae.
